FAQ

• Blaston

  • What is Blaston?

A one-on-one duel in which you dodge your opponent's bullets and fire back as much as you can.

  • How many players can play Blaston at VRcafe?

With 2 players, one against one, each in their own play area. In a group, each pair plays its own duel. Anyone left over takes turns or plays another game in the meantime.

  • How long does a duel in Blaston last?

A duel runs over a maximum of three rounds of up to 2 minutes each. So in one time slot you'll play several duels and can then choose something else.

  • From what age can you play Blaston?

From age 10. It's a shooting duel in which you have to duck and step aside quickly.

  • Is Blaston difficult?

The difficulty is medium. The bullets come at you in slow motion, so you have time to react. The host explains how to grab a weapon and shoot.

  • Do I need to book Blaston separately?

No. You book a VR Experience and choose Blaston on the spot. The host puts you and your opponent in the same duel.

  • How do you grab a weapon and shoot in Blaston?

The weapons float around you. You hold down the button under your middle finger to hold a weapon and shoot with your index finger. Each weapon has few bullets, so you'll often grab a new one.

  • How active is Blaston?

Pretty active. You dodge with your own body and are constantly ducking, crouching and stepping aside.

  • What weapons and arenas does Blaston have?

You shoot with a pistol, revolvers, a bow and a snowball launcher, among others. The arenas are Classic Duel with mixed weapons, Showdown with revolvers only, Arctic Blast with snowballs and Streetbrawl with the bow.

  • What should you play after Blaston?

If you like the bow, choose Elven Assassin, as the bow works the same way there: one hand holds the bow and the other pulls back the string. In the mood for something calm? Then Walkabout Mini Golf fits well.

• Booking

  • How do I book a VR Experience in Haarlem?

Booking is easy via the Book button on our website. Choose your activity, select 60, 90 or 120 minutes, enter the number of players and pick a time slot. You’ll immediately see available times and receive a confirmation by email.

  • Which time slots are available and what time do you recommend?

You can book daily within our opening hours. Available time slots are shown live in the booking system. Weekdays are usually quieter, ideal for smaller groups. Weekends and holidays are busier - book in advance. For groups or those wanting to try multiple games, we recommend 90 or 120 minutes.

  • How much does a booking cost and what is included?

The price depends on duration (60/90/120 min) and timing (weekday/weekend). Included: short briefing, guidance from a host, use of VR headsets & controllers, hygiene covers, and the option to switch between multiple games. Not included (optional): food & drinks, private session, or some premium and escape titles with a small surcharge.

  • Can we come with more than 11 people?

We have 11 play areas, so 11 people can play at the same time. If you come with more than 11, we rotate in rounds; the host manages teams and quick switches. Advice: 9–12 players → 90–120 min; 13+ → 120 min or two slots. Not every title supports 11 players; the host selects suitable games. For VR Racing: max 4 at once.

  • Can I change or cancel my booking?

You can cancel or modify your booking via the website or by contacting us. Please note that cancellation fees may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel or change. You can also add cancellation insurance directly when booking.
