Drawing and painting in 3D. Your artwork hangs in the space around you.

  • How many players can play Tilt Brush at VRcafe?

Tilt Brush is a single-player game: everyone creates their own artwork in their own play area. Others can watch on the screen. If you want to create something together, you can do that in Kingspray Graffiti.

  • Is Tilt Brush good for kids?

Yes. At VRcafe, Tilt Brush is part of the selection of games for kids. There's no violence and children can start drawing straight away.

  • From what age can you play Tilt Brush?

From age 7. You draw and paint, and it's easy to learn.

  • Do you need drawing experience for Tilt Brush?

No. Tilt Brush is easy and you can start right away. The host explains how the menu works.

  • Do I need to book Tilt Brush separately?

No. You book a VR Experience and choose Tilt Brush on the spot. Tilt Brush is also part of VR Art, together with Art Plunge, Anne Frank House and Kingspray Graffiti.

  • How do you choose a colour or brush in Tilt Brush?

The menu is on your left wrist. You point with your right hand and select with your index finger. There are three menus, and you switch by rotating your arm.

  • What tools do you have in Tilt Brush?

An eraser, a straight-line guide, a mirror, a camera and a teleporter. You can also choose from different settings to draw in.

  • Can you walk around your drawing in Tilt Brush?

Yes. You view your work from every side and move around with the teleporter.

  • What's the difference between Tilt Brush and Open Brush?

Open Brush is the continuation of Tilt Brush, with extra tools and layers. At VRcafe you can play both.

• Booking

  • How do I book a VR Experience in Haarlem?

Booking is easy via the Book button on our website. Choose your activity, select 60, 90 or 120 minutes, enter the number of players and pick a time slot. You’ll immediately see available times and receive a confirmation by email.

  • Which time slots are available and what time do you recommend?

You can book daily within our opening hours. Available time slots are shown live in the booking system. Weekdays are usually quieter, ideal for smaller groups. Weekends and holidays are busier - book in advance. For groups or those wanting to try multiple games, we recommend 90 or 120 minutes.

  • How much does a booking cost and what is included?

The price depends on duration (60/90/120 min) and timing (weekday/weekend). Included: short briefing, guidance from a host, use of VR headsets & controllers, hygiene covers, and the option to switch between multiple games. Not included (optional): food & drinks, private session, or some premium and escape titles with a small surcharge.

  • Can we come with more than 11 people?

We have 11 play areas, so 11 people can play at the same time. If you come with more than 11, we rotate in rounds; the host manages teams and quick switches. Advice: 9–12 players → 90–120 min; 13+ → 120 min or two slots. Not every title supports 11 players; the host selects suitable games. For VR Racing: max 4 at once.

  • Can I change or cancel my booking?

You can cancel or modify your booking via the website or by contacting us. Please note that cancellation fees may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel or change. You can also add cancellation insurance directly when booking.

  • How far in advance should I book to be sure of a spot?

For small groups, a few days in advance is usually enough. For weekends, holidays or packages (such as kids parties or company outings), we recommend booking at least one week in advance.
