FAQ

• Eleven Table Tennis

  • What is Eleven Table Tennis?

Realistic table tennis in VR. It feels like you're standing at a real table.

  • How many players can play Eleven Table Tennis at VRcafe?

With 1 or 2 players. On your own you play against the computer; as a pair you each stand in your own play area at the same table. A bigger group swaps per match or plays another game in the meantime.

  • How long does a game of Eleven Table Tennis take?

A game goes to 11 points, just like real table tennis. So in one time slot you'll play several games and can then choose something else.

  • From what age can you play Eleven Table Tennis?

From age 7. You hit a ball with a bat, using the same movement as at a real table.

  • Is Eleven Table Tennis difficult?

The difficulty is medium. As a beginner you set the computer opponent to a low level. The host explains how to serve and hit.

  • Do I need to book Eleven Table Tennis separately?

No. You book a VR Experience and choose Eleven Table Tennis on the spot. The host starts the game and puts you opposite each other at the same table.

  • How do you serve in Eleven Table Tennis?

You toss the ball up with your left hand and hit it with the bat in your other hand.

  • How realistic is Eleven Table Tennis?

The ball spins, bounces and takes spin just like in real table tennis. The movements are the same as at a real table, so it's a good way to practise.

  • Can you choose your bat or the setting in Eleven Table Tennis?

Yes. There are different bats, balls and settings.

  • What should you play after Eleven Table Tennis?

If you want another sports game, choose Racket NX. In the mood for something calmer? Then Walkabout Mini Golf fits well.

• Booking

  • How do I book a VR Experience in Haarlem?

Booking is easy via the Book button on our website. Choose your activity, select 60, 90 or 120 minutes, enter the number of players and pick a time slot. You’ll immediately see available times and receive a confirmation by email.

  • Which time slots are available and what time do you recommend?

You can book daily within our opening hours. Available time slots are shown live in the booking system. Weekdays are usually quieter, ideal for smaller groups. Weekends and holidays are busier - book in advance. For groups or those wanting to try multiple games, we recommend 90 or 120 minutes.

  • How much does a booking cost and what is included?

The price depends on duration (60/90/120 min) and timing (weekday/weekend). Included: short briefing, guidance from a host, use of VR headsets & controllers, hygiene covers, and the option to switch between multiple games. Not included (optional): food & drinks, private session, or some premium and escape titles with a small surcharge.

  • Can we come with more than 11 people?

We have 11 play areas, so 11 people can play at the same time. If you come with more than 11, we rotate in rounds; the host manages teams and quick switches. Advice: 9–12 players → 90–120 min; 13+ → 120 min or two slots. Not every title supports 11 players; the host selects suitable games. For VR Racing: max 4 at once.

  • Can I change or cancel my booking?

You can cancel or modify your booking via the website or by contacting us. Please note that cancellation fees may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel or change. You can also add cancellation insurance directly when booking.

  • How far in advance should I book to be sure of a spot?

For small groups, a few days in advance is usually enough. For weekends, holidays or packages (such as kids parties or company outings), we recommend booking at least one week in advance.
