ESCAPE ROOMS

Choose from 6 different VR Escape Rooms, each with a unique theme: enter the mad world of Alice in Wonderland, explore a lush Jungle or test your nerves in House of Fear.

DIFFICULTY

Each room has its own difficulty level, so players will always find a challenge to suit them. The three different levels are Easy, Medium and Hard.

SPECTATE

Are you waiting to play the next room, or would you like to see how others fare? No worries! Each VR headset is connected to a screen that lets you spectate while you enjoy your drink.

GROUPS

Our Escape Rooms have different minimum and maximum group sizes, but most of them can be played by 2 to 6 players.

OUR VR ESCAPE ROOMS

Alice VR

Put yourself in Alice’s shoes and dive into a world of true magic! You will have to unravel the secrets of the Queen of Hearts, who has cast a spell that affects time in Wonderland. Start in the halls of the world through the looking glass, where everything is upside down. Help the Mad Hatter clean up the mess of his crazy tea party, then let the Cheshire Cat lead you through the enchanted thickets of the Dark Forest. Finally, find a way to sneak past the card guards and defeat the Queen of Hearts, lift the spell on the central clock tower and save Wonderland.

CHERNOBYL

If only we could change the past, or witness those events that changed the world forever… Travel back in time to find out if you can change this terrible historical event. What really happened on the night of the accident, and what events followed it? Find answers to questions that have remained unanswered up until now. The ghost town of Chernobyl can tell you its story: one that cost many lives, and the story of a disaster that still affects us nowadays.

JUNGLE QUEST

During a walk in the park you stumble into a portal that leads to a mysterious world. An amazing kingdom exclusively populated by animals appears before you, but how will you get back? To find your way home, you will have to solve a series of puzzles and explore the flying islands that make up most of this world.

SURVIVAL

You depart on an unforgettable holiday trip with your friends. What you did not expect, however, was for this trip to turn into a quest for survival. Your plane is struck by lightning and it crashes next to a small, uninhabited island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The radio-transmitter in the cockpit is not working properly and you can’t tune it to the right frequency to call for aid. Who knows how long you’ll have to wait for the rescue team to find you?

MISSION SIGMA

The Secret Services have located and neutralised an infamous terrorist who had been hiding in a slum for the past ten years. This is where the good news ends. It turns out that the maniac has installed a warhead connected to a timer on the roof of an abandoned high-rise building. As if this wasn’t enough, he also turned the building itself into a vertical maze filled with intricate traps and obstacles. You have been recommended as a specialist to face such challenges and the Secret Services have helped you infiltrate the courtyard. The rest is up to you. Can you avoid getting caught in the many traps and prevent a nuclear attack?

House of Fear: Cursed Souls

A mysterious and brutal murder shocked the inhabitants of a small town. Rumour has it that one night a group of occultists murdered an entire family and cursed their souls, leaving them to rot inside the walls of their own house for the rest of their afterlife. Can you solve this grim mystery? Are you really ready to explore every corner of this dark, gloomy building to free the poor, unfortunate souls of the cursed family? Ponder well, as if you fail, the House will devour your soul, too.

VR ESCAPE ROOMS IN PRACTICE

Do you want to take on one of our VR Escape Rooms? Then we recommend that you make a reservation in advance, so that we can prepare the software for you and you can start as soon as you arrive. You can choose any number of playing spaces out of the 6 available, depending on how many people will be playing at the same time. Bookings for our VR Escape Rooms can be made for 60, 90 or 120 minutes.

Een VR Escape Room is een interactief spel waarbij je samen met vrienden en/of familie uitgedaagd wordt om puzzels op te lossen en je weg naar buiten te vinden. Dit gebeurt volledig in Virtual Reality. Onze VR Escape Rooms zijn geschikt voor jong en oud en aan te raden voor kleinere groepen tot 6 personen.

HOE LANG DUURT EEN ESCAPE ROOM?

Een Escape Room duurt ongeveer een half uur tot 1 uur.

VANAF WELKE LEEFTIJD WORDT DE VR ESCAPE ROOM AANGERADEN?

De VR Escape Room wordt aangeraden vanaf 13 jaar.

WAT VOOR SOORT ESCAPE ROOMS ZIJN ER BESCHIKBAAR?

Er zijn 5 verschillende VR Escape Rooms beschikbaar, elk met een eigen thema. Zo kan je bijvoorbeeld lopen in de wereld van Alice in Wonderland of rondkijken in de Jungle.

WAT IS DE MOEILIJKHEIDSGRAAD VAN DE ESCAPE ROOMS?

De Escape Rooms zijn onderverdeeld in makkelijk, gemiddeld en moeilijk. Er is dus voor elk niveau een geschikte Escape Room beschikbaar.

IS HET MOGELIJK OM NAAR ANDEREN TE KIJKEN TIJDENS HET SPELEN VAN EEN ESCAPE ROOM?

Ja. Elke VR-bril is verbonden aan een beeldscherm waardoor je onder het genot van een drankje kunt meekijken naar hoe anderen het spel spelen.

WAT ZIJN DE MINIMALE EN MAXIMALE GROEPSGROOTTES VOOR DE ESCAPE ROOMS?

De minimale en maximale groepsgroottes verschillen per Escape Room. De meeste Rooms kunnen vanaf 2 personen tot wel 6 spelers worden gespeeld.

KAN IK EEN VR ESCAPE ROOM CADEAU DOEN AAN IEMAND ANDERS?

Ja, het is mogelijk om een VR Escape Room event te boeken als cadeau voor iemand anders. Je kunt een cadeaubon aanschaffen of direct een boeking maken voor de persoon aan wie je het cadeau wilt geven.

IS ER EEN DRESSCODE?

Er is geen specifieke dresscode voor het bezoeken van VRcafe, maar het wordt aanbevolen om comfortabele kleding te dragen omdat je tijdens de VR-experience bewegingen maakt.

HOE KAN IK EEN VR ESCAPE ROOM BOEKEN?

KAN IK ANNULEREN OF MIJN BOEKING WIJZIGEN?

Ja, je kunt je boeking annuleren of wijzigen via de website of door contact op te nemen ons. Houd er rekening mee dat er mogelijk annuleringskosten in rekening gebracht kunnen worden, afhankelijk van hoeveel tijd voor de geplande boeking je annuleert of wijzigt. Het is ook mogelijk om een annuleringsverzekering af te sluiten, direct bij je boeking.

WAT MOET IK MEENEMEN NAAR HET VRCAFE?

Je hoeft niets speciaals mee te nemen. Alle benodigde VR-apparatuur wordt verstrekt.

IS ER BEGELEIDING AANWEZIG TIJDENS DE VR ESCAPE ROOM?

Ja, er is altijd begeleiding aanwezig om ervoor te zorgen dat alles soepel verloopt en om eventuele vragen te beantwoorden.

KAN IK IN DE BUURT PARKEREN?

Ja, er is een parkeergarage (Station Haarlem) naast het VRcafe, en het trein- en busstation zit voor de deur. Het VRcafe is daarmee makkelijk bereikbaar met de auto of het openbaar vervoer.
